Punakha Drubchen & Tshechu - 7 Days
Punakha Drubchen is unique, reenacting historic 17th-century battles when Bhutanese warriors defended the country from Tibetan invasions. It is followed by Punakha Tshechu, which celebrates Guru Rinpoche with sacred dances and rituals. The festival takes place in the majestic Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses.
