Paro Tshechu Festival - 7 Days

Held every spring in Paro Dzong, the Paro Tshechu is one of Bhutan’s most popular festivals. Locals gather in their best attire to witness sacred cham dances, receive blessings, and celebrate Guru Rinpoche’s legacy. The highlight is the unfurling of the giant Thongdrel (sacred scroll painting) at dawn, believed to cleanse sins.

Thimphu Tshechu Festival - 5 Days

The Thimphu Tshechu, held in Bhutan’s capital, is the grandest festival of the kingdom. Thousands gather at Tashichho Dzong to witness mesmerizing mask dances, cultural performances, and receive blessings. It’s a vibrant mix of spirituality, tradition, and festivity.

Punakha Drubchen & Tshechu - 7 Days

Punakha Drubchen is unique, reenacting historic 17th-century battles when Bhutanese warriors defended the country from Tibetan invasions. It is followed by Punakha Tshechu, which celebrates Guru Rinpoche with sacred dances and rituals. The festival takes place in the majestic Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses.

Jambay Lhakhang Drup Festival - 10 Days

Jambay Lhakhang Drup in Bumthang is one of Bhutan’s most mystical festivals. It features the famous “Fire Dance” (Mewang), believed to purify sins, and the “Tercham” (Naked Dance) performed at midnight to bless infertile women.
